The Tech Company "Prayer"

I have come to believe that most meetings in most technology companies begin with an implicit prayer.  Perhaps these companies should make it explicit, so everyone understands the context.  The prayer goes something like this:

For the technology we are about to design, may there be unlimited demand at any price.  Amen.


Sound familiar?  Ever wonder how things might be different if these companies questioned the validity of that prayer?
